drive, watch TV, or talk on the phone while you eat.

Prepare exercise clothes the night before as a reminder to go
for a walk or exercise in the morning.

Set goals you can meet. For
example, try eating more vegetables and fewer high-calorie foods.

Do not increase the size of your favorite beverage: 32 oz. Soda have 400 calories! Instead,
choose a diet soda.

Stop eating when you are not hungry and move the dish away.

Look for alternatives to eating when you're not hungry: walk,
enjoy a game, read a book, or call a friend.

Go shopping to the grocery store on a full stomach.

Eat only when you are hungry, not when you are bored, tired, or
stressed.
